On my way back from a show, I walked along the park and immediately got reminded of the day I was here with L. We had a long walk and we hat many chats. At one point we stopped and I sat down on the grass, he lied down and used my thigh as pillow. The memory was so vivid as if still fresh, the wound got torn up again and the pain rushed in.
Luckily I adjusted quickly enough and soon walked out of the zone. I started thinking about C, and the image of C walking into the sea yesterday was even more vivid, and truly fresh. I took out my phone to text them, head down, unaware of my surroundings, until I smelled this sweet sweet fragrance. My body knew what it was even before my brain had a proper registration. Osmanthus, blooming just right there, only a couple of kilometres from where I live.
I took so much of the coincidence finding the osmanthus tree in the mountain as a sign, the serendipity of love last year. It’s wrong to overlook this encounter.
"Let’s buy it." After prompt web search, C replied, as we found out it would cost about 3 million dollars. My mood significantly brightened up.

My attraction towards C has grown over time. The more I engage in the love acts with them the more I love them. Their charming smile in the afternoon sunlight and the small, almost inaudible moan when we were kissing, are all I can think of in this long-haul flight.
